RUMOR: New FANTASTIC FOUR Movie In Development At Fox; Will Have Kid-Friendly Slant

According to Bleeding Cool, Seth Grahame- Smith is working on a new treatment for 20th Century Fox on another Fantastic Four movie. Smith’s name may sound familiar to you because he did do some work on the script for the 2015 FF reboot but his contributions went uncredited because Josh Trank elected to write his own screenplay. As most comic book fans know, Fox must keep producing Fantastic Four films if they want to hold on to the right of the franchise. It seems that the studio might be thinking that third times the charm with their previous attempts not being so well received.

Bleeding Cool reports that Fox is now looking to make the Fantastic Four movie more of kid-friendly film that’s similar in concept to The Incredibles. Their source tells them that the new story will be told through the eyes of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman‘s kids, Franklin and Valeria Richard. If these rumors turn out to be true, it seems that the studio like Smith enough to keep him around for another shot at finding what works for the first superhero family.
