Ubisoft stole the show this year with multiple titles. New, breakthrough ones such as Mario Rabbids: Kingdom Takeover. A sequel to a fan favorite, South Park: Fractured But Whole. and returning to their well-noted series comes Assassin’s Creed: Origins.
Assassin’s Creed: Origins follows the story of Bayek, a Medjay, as he works to protect his people. The setting for this AC, which is well known to follow historical events, is in Ancient Egypt. This game will act as the prequel to the whole series, portraying the original struggle of the Assassins versus the Templars.
AC: Origins is an action-adventure game, and follows similar mechanics to the last Assassin’s Creeds. That includes stealth mode. following missions, rescuing people, creating chaos, fighting evil, and learning about history as you play throughout the game.
The differences that Origins has compared to it’s predecessors is that its melee battle mode is different, there isn’t as many high towers to jump from, you get to access a hawk (Senu) and see from his point-of-view, there is help throughout the game to help you follow your missions and stay on track, and it doesn’t have multiplayer gameplay.
