Lionsgate Power Rangers sequel hinges on the performances in China and Japan, which are due out May 12 and July 15, respectively. The Dean Isrealite helmed film is expected to perform well in Japan this summer, due to it’s strong ties to Super Sent, but China remains a bit of a wildcard. One thing the film has going for it is one of its stars Chinese actor Ludi Lin, who plays Zack the Black Ranger, is definitely a star in his own country. Lin appeared in the second highest grossing film ever in China, Monster Hunter.
With its big release in China, a new triptych poster has been released featuring the Power Rangers racing into action with the Megazord loom in the stadium background. Check them out:
