Guardians Of The Galaxy Will Be Supporting Players In AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

It’s been known for a while that The Guardians of the Galaxy would appear in Avengers: Infinity War, but exactly how much screentime they would share with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes hasn’t been made clear, but in an interview with the Nerdist to promote the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Chris Pratt explained that while the team will have a key role in the film, they’ll be letting The Avengers do the cinematic heavy lifting.

“We definitely will have a strong presence, but we are playing supporting cast – you know what I mean? We’re there to help them tell an awesome Infinity War story,” the actor explained. “But Guardians is cosmic. It is its own special off-shoot of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

It completely makes sense that Star-Lord and his ragtag team would serve more as back up to The Avengers as they take on Thanos, but many fans would like to see The Guardians taking a more significant role in the film, but there always the untitled Avengers 4 for that. We just hope that whatever screentime the Guardians have is used wisely.
