The battle between the ages commences in this week’s newest DC comic book.  Nightwing issue 16 starts off with Richard and Damian at each other’s throats over who would inherit the cowl.  That is until a real issue emerges.

“Hate is coming to Blüdhaven, and it will tear Nightwing’s world apart! Try and keep up as Dick Grayson spans the globe to piece together clues and uncover the mystery of who wants Nightwing dead!”

This issue for me was kind of slow and somewhat boring.  Even the final reveal at the end was a throwaway.  Tim Seeley did a so-so job with the story but it didn’t feel at all original.

Although, the only reason this comic didn’t get a 1 was due to the art by  Javier Fernandez.  He does an excellent job at drawing the characters and city streets of Gotham.

If I were you, out of all the Batman comics out there it would be easy to find a better story this week.
