The cast of the Young Hans Solo spin-off are currently busy filming with Alden Ehrenreich in the title role and even marked the start of the shoot with a photo in the Millennium Falcon.
Now Star Wars News Net have discovered some new details surrounding the film’s plot, with the shoot about to move to Fuerteventura, Spain’s second largest Canary Island.
According to local Spanish newspaper, La Provincia, the landscape will mock up for the desert planet of Corellia, Han Solo’s home.
An extract from the outlet reads: “The dune area of Cañada de la Barca, inside the Jandía Natural Park, will become the desert planet of Coreilla, an area where the young Han Solo came from.
“[It’s] the place where he became the best smuggler in the galaxy doing orders for Jabba the Hutt.
“And where, according to Legends, managed to complete the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs, with its precious ship, the Millennium Falcon.”
With this information in mind, it’s possible the film will include a younger Jabba the Hutt, but Star Wars theorist Mike Zeroh reckons another galactic crook could be turning up to cause Han Solo trouble in this space western.
In a new YouTube video, he says: “Could Dengar be a villain of some sort in the Han Solo Anthology film?
Fans will know Dengar as the Cornelian bounty hunter hired by Darth Vader to capture Han Solo.
He appeared briefly in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Zeroh continued: “[Could he be] a main villain, a secondary villain or maybe even just a little cameo thrown in?
“Because we only got to see him partially in the original trilogy, why not throw him in the Anthology film for Han Solo?”
