-these are in no particular order-
1. Darth Nihilus
Darth Nihilus, also known as “Lord of Hunger”, is the Dark Lord of the Sith in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II The Sith Lords. He has no human form and is a force bound by the dark side. He is kept bound by the mask he wears. He was one of the three students of Darth Traya. The only way his form stays alive is by devouring the energy and life force of planets until they were sucked dry. During one of the times he was feeding, he fed on a planet called Katarr which had a Jedi Enclave on it. He killed the entire planet but one person survived which was his apprentice, Visas Marr. She was a Miraluka and the last of her race. He met his fate by the powerful Jedi, Meetra Surik. He was defeated and no longer was a wound in the Force.
“He is a wound in the Force, more presence than flesh, and in his wake life dies… sacrificing itself to his hunger.” –Visas Marr (Nihilus wasn’t able to really speak)
2. Darth Sion
Darth Sion was the other Sith Lord in KOTOR II. Unlike Nihilus, his human form stayed in tact. His body had physical reactions to the dark side which resulted in scarring and decay. He was one of the Sith known that still partially walked in the light. He focused his entire life on becoming an immortal being. He is one of the three students that studied under Darth Traya. During a particular part in his life, he tried to hunt down and kill Meetra Surik. Darth Traya kept defeating him because Meetra was her new prize. At the end of his life, on the Sith Academy on Malachor V, he felt soft towards her, you could even say he fell in love with her and let her kill him to set him free.
“I hate you because you are beautiful to me, and in that weakness lies death” (to Meetra)
3. Darth Traya (Kreia)
Darth Traya, also known as Kreia, is a Dark Lord of the Sith and Dark Jedi. She is also the only known female to be a Dark Lord of the Sith. She possessed the ability to speak in people’s minds and was able to fight with floating lightsabers. She was a master manipulator and all her life, things worked in her favor. While being evil, she was very knowledgable of the Force and taught very valuable lessons for the dark and light. She was the master of Nihilus and Sion and wanted Meetra to destroy both and become Lord of the Sith. Meetra and Traya formed a bond to where if one got injured the other could feel it. On the mining facility, Peragus, Sion severed Traya’s hand and Meetra felt it, passing out from the intense pain. Her master plan was to destroy her apprentices, destroy the hiding Jedi Masters, and to turn Meetra. She was successful in all of those besides from Meetra turning. Traya was extremely gifted with foresight, she foresaw Mace Windu defeating Jango Fett 4,000 years before it happened. She is one or not THE most gifted Sith Lords in Star Wars.
“Know that much may happen here, but above all, do not forget this—you may trust in me. We cradle each other’s lives, and what threatens one of us, threatens us both. And if you find you cannot trust me, trust in your training. Trust in yourself. Never doubt what you have done.”
4. Count Dooku
Count Dooku, also known as Darth Tyranus, was not a Sith but a Dark Jedi. His Dark Jedi case is much like Ventress, Darth Vader, Revan, Bastila, etc. Count Dooku was the padawan of Yoda and turned to the dark side in result of his frustration of the corruption of the Republic. He then became the political leader of the Separatist Alliance. As a Jedi his padawan was Qui-Gon Jinn and as a Dark Jedi his apprentice was Asajj Ventress whom was another fallen Jedi. He recruited Jango Fett to carry out the assassination of Senator Padme Amidala. He revealed himself as a “Sith” during the Battle of Geonosis. He met his fate by Anakin slicing his head off during the rescue of Chancellor Palpatine. His body perished on the back half The Invisible Hand when it split in half during the Battle of Coruscant.
“Soon enough, you will stop denying the truth of so very many things. And you will understand that I am not a traitor, but a visionary! Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hatred leads to suffering. But what the Jedi failed to teach you, what I have learned, is how to persevere, to pass through suffering, and achieve ultimate power!”
5. Asajj Ventress
Ventress was born on the dark side planet, Dathomir. She was one of the Nightsister’s which is a Force sensitive clan made up of all females under the control of Mother Talzin. She was forced to be given to the criminal Hal’Sted and was taken to Rattatak to be his slave. Her master was killed by Weequay pirates and was discovered by Jedi Master Ky Narec. Master Narec was killed on Rattatak and she was again orphaned. She wallowed in her anger and embraced the dark side. She was later discovered by Count Dooku. He trained her in the dark side and became a general for the Separatist Droid Army. It has been speculated that she and Obi-Wan had a secret love for each other. She found herself in unexpected alliances near the end of her days with Ahsoka Tano and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Darth Sidious grew wary of her rise in power and ordered Dooku to have her executed. She died by the hands of her own forces and was left for dead on Sullust.
“You will learn to draw your strength from your emotions. Hate will feed you. Never sympathize with the enemy, not even for a moment.”

Revan was able to speak several alien languages along with the language of the Selkath which were slave builders the Rakatan used to build the Star Forge. During a battle with Bastila Shan, he blacked out and she wiped his mind. She turned him into a Republic solider who “happened” to have the Force. The Jedi Council sent Bastila and Revan on missions to recover the Star Maps to find the secret location of the Star Forge. The two found it but were beat by Darth Malak. Total war broke out but the Republic ended up winning and resulted in the destruction of the Star Forge. Revan later married Bastila, had Satele but left them. His old memories were surfacing and went into the Unknown Regions to search for answers. He was captured by the Emperor of the time and was tortured. He was tortured to the point his mind was split. He had two personalities, dark Revan and light Revan (like Gollum). He was pushed to almost death but rejected it, unable to become one with the Force. During a battle, his mind merged into one and was able to die a final death. Revan created several Sith Holocrons which were discovered by Darth Bane and resulted in the Rule of Two.
“Honor is a fool’s prize. Glory is of no use to the dead.”

At that time, the only Sith around were the race the “Sith” who were red skinned beings who are native of the dark side planet, Korriban (Moraband in canon). They were the original dark side users and were born evil. While apart of the Jedi Order, Pall studied alchemy. He discovered how to create and shape life, the Jedi Order feared his growing power they saw his craft as an abomination and said that Pall and his followers were pawns of the dark side. Ajunta Pall and his followers waged war against the Order which is referred to as the “Hundred-Year Darkness”. He slew dozens of Jedi during the war and when it was over, Pall and his followers were stripped of their ranks and weapons, exiled from any part of space controlled by the Republic. He died from old age and was buried in a tomb in the Valley of the Dark Lords on Korriban not far from the Sith Academy. When Revan revisited there when he was a Jedi on his journey searching for Star Maps, he went into the tomb. The tomb was plagued with traps and vicious animals. The prize that was said to be there was Ajunta’s sword. When Revan took the sword from the sarcophagus, Ajunta’s spirit materialized. He challenged Revan to a duel which Pall lost. He then spoke to Revan saying how wrong he was for turning to the dark side. He was saddened by thousands of years have passed and that the Sith way of life is strong and thriving. Revan helped him redeem his soul and become one with the Force.
“I… had a name, once. Ajunta Pall. Yes, that was my name. I was one of many. We were servants of the dark side… Sith Lords, we called ourselves. So proud. In the end we were not so proud. We hid… hid from those we had betrayed. We fell… and I knew it would be so.”
