Twitter Announces Rogue One Live Stream Event!

rogue-one-a-star-wars-story-banner3In what is questionably the best marketing stunt for Star Wars fans ever, Twitter just announced that they will be doing an exclusive Rogue One: A Star Wars Story special live-streaming event. The event, hosted by People Magazine, will start this Friday, December 2, at 10 AM PST.

This event will be airing previously unreleased footage from the upcoming film. After the footage is aired, there will be a Q & A with Rogue One’s director Gareth Edwards and the cast members from the film.

The video will be available worldwide on Twitter at RogueOne.twitter.com, in Twitter Moments, and via @StarWars and @people accounts, as well as on Twitter apps for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Xbox. Basically, there is no easy way that you cannot access these videos unless you are technologically special like me. No, seriously, I make technology die.

Now, for any of you guys who have deep burning questions that need to be asked, here is what you need to do:

Fans can submit questions on Twitter for the cast to answer during the event by tweeting the hashtag #AskRogueOne. Fans can also Tweet with the following hashtags: #RogueOne, #DeathStar, #StarWars and #StarWarsRogueOne.

The arguably best part is that the live stream will be available to anyone via Twitter’s channels, whether they’re logged in or not.

Are you guys ready for this live event? Get your questions and loins ready because Friday is going to be the bestest and most informative day ever!
