The second Wonder Woman trailer was released on Thursday and has caused much excitement among fans.
In it, we see Diana, played by Gal Galdot, begin the trailer fatigued by the idea of saving the world, with a voiceover saying “I used to want to save the world — this beautiful place, but the closer you get, the more you see the great darkness within,” as she dives into a body of water.
However, it appears she is going to have to change her attitude and save the world after all as Chris Pine shows up to enlist her in the “war to end all wars”.
I absolutely loved the first trailer that dropped for WONDER WOMAN at SDCC, and it looks like Warner Bros. is going to continue to deliver what fans want with this character. I can only echo the sentiments of so many fans; Gal Gadot is completely owning this role! This movie looks every bit of fun as people have wanted with a DC film and whether or not that’s a direct response to the DAWN OF JUSTICE/SUICIDE SQUAD criticism, I don’t really care. If WONDER WOMAN proves to be every bit as compelling as its trailers, I think we’ll have one of the most successful comic book movies of all time on our hands come next summer!
WONDER WOMAN opens in theaters on June 2, 2017.
