Sometimes you need to kick back, relax, and just watch the entire Star Wars saga in one sitting. That’s how you can spend the Friday after Thanksgiving, thanks to TBS. If you don’t have your blu-ray or DVD collection handy, the network is running an all-day marathon going through the first six episodes in numerical order, starting bright and early at 6:45 a.m. EST.
Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace kicks things off, then, with Episode II – Attack of the Clones at 9:30 a.m., and Episode III – Revenge of the Sith rounding out the prequel trilogy at 12:22 p.m. The original trilogy kicks off the afternoon at 3:12 p.m. with Episode IV – A New Hope, with Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back at 5:43 p.m. and Episode VI – Return of the Jedi at 8:17 p.m. Of course, Star Wars: The Force Awakens hasn’t hit basic cable yet, so you’ll have to watch that on digital, DVD, or blu-ray after the marathon to complete the saga so far.
There’s still another year until the Skywalker Saga continues with Star Wars: Episode VIIIfrom writer/director Rian Johnson, so you might as well relive the story so far as many times as you can to help you kill time
