Set your guns to “stunned,” as you are about to be bowled over when the worlds of Westworld and Star Wars combine.  In a universe populated by robots, it was only a matter of time before someone drew comparisons with that galaxy far, far away.

Did you spot a rather familiar looking human-cyborg relations robot, looking like he had seen better days? We have all heard the theory that Westworld could be set on Mars, so moving to Skywalker territory doesn’t seem beyond the realm of possibility.

The office of nefarious Dr. Robert Ford is a treasure trove of Westworld goodies — from random scrawlings, to olde worlde piano players, and early drafts of Dolores. I am also pretty sure there is a subtle appearance of C-3PO in and among his many nick-nacks. If you look to the bottom right corner of his desk there is some long abandoned version of what we guess could have been an idea for a host. However, it could actually be a prototype for a future sci-fi host, which bears more than a striking resemblance to C-3PO, the longstanding British bot who has appeared in all seven Star Wars films.

If you still aren’t convinced, thinking “but C-3PO is all shiny and gold,” he hasn’t always been. You may remember that an incomplete version of the polite android was first seen in Episode I: The Phantom Menace, before returning in slightly better shape forEpisode II: Attack of the Clones. It wasn’t until the third prequel film that C-3PO got his signature 24k pimpage.

What do you guys think??
