Justice League: First look at Bat Signal and Commissioner Gordon

Today is Batman Day, one of my favorite days! Next to Halloween that is. I am a very big fan of the caped crusader, and have been since I was 9 years old. That is when I first saw him on the big screen. Ever since I have been hooked. I haven’t been able to keep up with the comics as I used to, but I do keep track of him in other forms of media.

Today has been a good day as Zack Snyder revealed a couple of photos from the Justice League set on his official Twitter account. We first get a look at the Bat Signal by itself

Then, we see a photo of the Bat Signal with none other Commissioner Jim Gordon, played by J.K Simmons,  standing beside it.

It seems that Gotham City will be one of the major locales in the Justice League movie, which makes sense since Batman will be the one putting the whole team together. Below, is the synopsis of what Justice League will be about:

“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by ¬†Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions”

Justice League is being directed by Zack Snyder from a screenplay by Chris Terrio. It will star Ben Affleck returning to the role of Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. There is also rumored appearances of Deathstroke, being played by Joe Manganiello, and Lex Luthor, being played by Jesse Eisenberg.

Justice League will be out in theaters worldwide on November 17th 2017.
