Make-a-Wish of New Hampshire surprised a 13-year-old boy with wish of living in the “Star Wars” universe.
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. —The Seacoast looked more like a galaxy far, far away, as a 13-year-old undergoing treatment for a brain tumor saw his wish of living in the “Star Wars” universe come true.
Make-a-Wish of New Hampshire surprised Cole Delisle with a police escort to the Masonic Lodge Saturday. Greeted with balloons and cheers, Cole was escorted into a room filled with people in “Star Wars” uniforms — and then taken behind a curtain to suit up in his own, custom-made uniform.
“It was put together over a matter of a month or so,” said Donna Parker, from the Make-a-Wish Foundation. “It was hand-painted.”
The mayor of Portsmouth was also on hand to proclaim Saturday “Cole Day.”
