The Enchanted World of Miyazaki: Hidden Art Show

Los Angeles is full of excited twists and turns, and they’re exceptionally more thrilling when it’s “nerdy.”

For those interested in art, culture, and Japanese culture, the Miyazaki tribute art show is definitely a magical hole-in-the-wall experience.

Hayao Miyazaki is the mastermind behind Studio Ghibli, a Japanese film and animation studio. The art show featured several art pieces influenced by the beauty of his films. Films including My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, and many more.

People attending the event were encouraged to dress in cosplay from the films and themed drinks were served. Attendees were able to purchase the art piece itself for a price, or a print of the art to take home the magic.
